Announcement: The death of impossibility

I’m here to announce the death of IMPOSSIBILITY.

Impossibiility has been the sole destroyer of millions of creative ideas dream. He has practically demand the head of creativity on a platter of gold.

Impossibility has crucified dreams that would have become world class achievement. It has crippled inspiration and paraded success in nudity.

Millions of people like you and I have been terrorized by it’s whip. And others have been made to worship it like a god, that every passing day, his name, “It’s Impossible” is mentioned here and there.

He had been directly responsible for millions of untapped talent that has gone “six feet” underground without achieving an iota of their great talents, potentials and dreams.

He nearly dragged others who broke free form it’s shackles, people like The Wright Brothers, Thomas Edison, Bill Gates, Alexander Bell, Abraham Lincoln, Barack Hussein Obama Jnr and many others – even me.

Impossibiility – I don’t have to respect him – is the cause of mediocrity in the society. He has sworn to make his twin brother’s name – possibility – a never possible name.

Most have believed in his lie and you might have been entangled in it’s web. It has made slaves of Kings and have made servamts of Sons. He has made the diamond owners live a pauper’s life and a wealthy mind live in fear of knowledge, thereby embracing ignorance.

You might be wondering why I’m saying this right now. Well, he is DEAD.

Today, in my dictionary, I crossed out his name. he has lived in my life for too long that I silently prayed for his demise.

Today, “He kicked the bucket”. – He is gone, FOREVER.

If you have lived in awe of him – listen to the good news. He is dead.

He died the early hour of this morning that you are reading this and He is survived by his brother, Possibility, His wife; Patience and his two children: Knowledge and Persistence.

If you don’t believe me, wonder why your mobile phone can place a call without any line, rope or a messenger who will instantly get your message across and get a feedback instanteously?

Well, I have told you.

I have to go now. I will fill you in about his burial service.

And as the Preacher has said. “DO NOT MOURN” for Impossibiility.

How would you like to raise 3 million dollars, 3 days from now in just 3 hours

I want to share an Excerpt from Bob Proctor’s - You Were Born Rich. This story has been told to millions of people around the world at this stage but to me its impact is amazing and it can be used to perform similar mental magic in our lives.

Bob's story goes that he was conducting a seminar, which ran from Thursday night to Sunday, at the Deerhurst Lodge, which is a resort approximately 100 miles north of Toronto. On the Friday night, a tornado swept through Barrie, Ontario, a town about 40 miles south of Deerhurst. The tornado killed a dozen people and did millions of dollars worth of damage. On the Sunday night, as he was coming home, he stopped the car when he got to Barrie. He got out on the side of the highway and looked around. It was a mess.

Everywhere he looked, there were smashed houses and cars turned upside down.

That same night, another gentleman, Bob Templeton, was driving down the same highway. He and bob had never met, however, an idea from the seminar was about to bring them together in a lasting friendship. He stopped to look at the disaster, just as Mr Proctor had, only his thoughts were different. Bob was the Vice-President of Telemedia Communications, a company which owns a string of radio stations in Ontario and Quebec. As he stood there viewing the disaster, he thought there must be something he could do for these people (with the radio stations he had). That thought kept returning to his mind that night and all the next day.

The following night, Bob Proctor was doing another seminar in Toronto. Bob Templeton and Bob Johnson, another vice-president from Telemedia, came in and stood at the back of the room. They were evaluating the seminar, trying to decide if he could help their company reach its goals. Bob Templeton became fascinated with the laws of the universe, particularly The Law of
Polarity or as it is often referred to, The Law of Opposites. This law clearly states everything has an opposite. You cannot have an up without a down, hot without cold or in without out. By the same token, if you can figure out why something you want to do cannot be done, by law, you must be able to figure out how it can be done. People who accomplish great things are aware of the negative, however, they give all of their mental energy to the positive. After the seminar, Bob Templeton went back to his office. It was late but this one idea he picked up had him excited. It also had him committed to the idea of raising millions of dollars and giving it to the people who had been caught in the tornado, and he was going to raise the money immediately!

Furthermore, he was not remotely interested in why he couldn’t. The following Friday he called all of his executives at Telemedia into his office.

At the top of a flip chart in bold letters, he wrote three 3’s. He said to his executives “How would you like to raise 3 million dollars, 3 days from now, in just 3 hours and give the money to the people in Barrie?” There was nothing but silence in the room. Finally someone said, “Templeton, you’re crazy. There is absolutely no way we could raise 3 million dollars, in 3 hours, 3 days from now!” Bob said, “Wait a minute. I didn’t ask you if we could or even if we should. I just asked you if you would like to.” Bob Templeton was wise; he was appealing to the charitable side of their nature. It was important for those present to openly admit that this was something they wanted to do. Bob Templeton knew that his new idea could show anyone how to accomplish anything they wanted by working with the law.

They all said, “Sure, we’d like to.” He then drew a large T underneath the 333. On one side he wrote, ‘Why We Can’t.’ On the other side he wrote, ‘How We Can.’ Under the words, ‘Why We Can’t,’ Bob Templeton drew a large X. As he placed the X on the flip chart, he said, “Now there is no place to record the ideas we think of which explain why we can’t raise 3 million dollars, in 3 hours, 3 days from now, regardless of how valid they might be.” He continued by explaining, “When anyone calls out an idea which suggests why we can’t, everyone else must yell out as loud as they can, NEXT. That will be our command to go to the next idea. Ideas are like the cars on a train, one always follows the other. We will keep saying Next until a positive idea arrives.” Bob smiled and continued to explain that, “Opposite the X on the other side of the flipchart, directly under the words, ‘How We Can,’ I will write down every idea that we can come up with on how we can raise 3 million dollars, in 3 hours, 3 days from now.”

He also suggested in a very serious tone of voice, that everyone will remain in the room until we figure it out. “We are not only going to think of how we can raise 3 million dollars immediately, after we originate the ideas we are going to execute them!” There was silence again. Finally, someone said, “We could do a radio show across Canada.” Bob said, “That’s a great idea,” and wrote it down under, ‘How We Can.’ Before he had it written on the right hand side of the flipchart, someone said, “You can’t do a radio show across Canada. We don’t have radio stations across Canada!” Since Telemedia only had stations in Ontario and Quebec, you must admit that was a pretty valid objection. However, someone in the back of the room, in a rather soft tone said, “Next.” Bob Templeton replied, “Doing a radio show is how we can. That idea stays.” But this truly did sound like a ridiculous idea, because radio stations are very competitive.

They usually don’t work together and to get them to do so would be virtually impossible according to the standard way of thinking. All of a sudden someone suggested, “You could get Harvey Kirk and Lloyd Robertson, the biggest names in Canadian broadcasting, to anchor the show.” These gentlemen are anchors of national stature in the Canadian television industry. Someone clearly spoke out saying, “They’re not going to go on radio.” But, at that point the group yelled, “NEXT.” Bob said that was when the energy shifted; everyone got involved and it was absolutely amazing how fast and furious the creative ideas began to flow.

That was on a Friday. The following Tuesday they had a radiothon, where 50 radio stations, from all across the country, agreed to work in harmony for such a good cause. They felt it didn’t matter who got the credit, as long as the people in Barrie got the money. Harvey Kirk and Lloyd Robertson anchored the show and they succeeded in raising 3 million dollars, in 3 hours, within 3 business days! You see, you can have whatever you want; all things are possible when you put your focus on how you can and “Next” every idea telling you why you can’t. This may be a difficult exercise in the beginning, however when you persist “Nexting” any and all negative concepts, the flow of positive ideas will roar into your marvelous mind.

Bob Templeton never received five cents for the leadership role he played, in marshalling 50 radio stations from right across Canada, to raise the three million dollars for the people of Barrie, Ontario in Canada. However, you must remember that this is truly an orderly universe; God’s way of running this show is exact—when you put good out, it must come back. Millions upon millions of people are making positive things happen in their lives because Bob Templeton would not listen to the reasons why he and his staff could not raise 3 million dollars, in 3 hours, just 3 days after they began to brainstorm the idea. By the way, Bob Templeton and his staff have formed the habit of ‘333ing’ their wants and, as a result, he has gone on to become the President of NewCap Broadcasting company, a highly profitable corporation, with stations right across Canada.

It is my opinion that Bob Templeton has set up a force for good that will follow him wherever he goes. Profit has become his second name. Begin at once to ‘333’ all of your wants and profit will follow you as well.

Hope this helps you to bring out the best in you

WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO IMPROVE YOUR SELF?

Sometimes, when all our doubts, fears and insecurities wrap ourselves up, we always come up with the idea of “I wish I was somebody else.” More often than not, we think and believe that someone or rather, most people are better than us.- when in reality, the fact is, most people are more scared than us.

You spot a totally eye-catching girl sitting by herself at a party, casually sipping on a glass of Asti Spumanti. You think to yourself, “she looks so perfectly calm and confident.” But if you could read thru her transparent mind, you would see a bunch of clouds of thoughts and you might just be amazed that she’s thinking “are people talking about why I am seated here alone?... Why don’t guys find me attractive? …I don’t like my ankles, they look too skinny… I wish I was as intelligent as my best friend.”

We look at a young business entrepreneur and say “Wooh… what else could he ask for?” He stares at himself at the mirror and murmur to himself, “I hate my big eyes… I wonder why my friends won’t talk to me… I hope mom and dad would still work things out.”

Isn’t it funny? We look at other people, envy them for looking so outrageously perfect and wish we could trade places with them, while they look at us and thinks of the same thing. We are insecure of other people who themselves are insecure of us. We suffer from low self-esteem, lack of self-confidence and lose hope in self improvement because we are enveloped in quiet desperation.

Sometimes, you notice that you have an irritating habit like biting off your finger nails, having a foul mouth, and you – of all people, is the last to know.

I have a friend who never gets tired of talking. And in most conversations, she is the only one who seems to be interested in the things she has to say. So all of our other friends tend to avoid the circles whenever she’s around, and she doesn’t notices how badly she became socially handicapped – gradually affecting the people in her environment.

One key to self improvement is to LISTEN and TALK to a trusted friend. Find someone who you find comfort in opening up with even the most gentle topics you want to discuss. Ask questions like “do you think I am ill-mannered?”, “Do I always sound so argumentative?”, “Do I talk too loud?”, “Does my breath smell?”, “Do I ever bore you when were together?”. In this way, the other person will obviously know that you are interested in the process of self improvement. Lend her your ears for comments and criticisms and don’t give her answers like “Don’t exaggerate! That’s just the way I am!” Open up your mind and heart as well. And in return, you may want to help your friend with constructive criticism that will also help her improve her self.

One of Whitney Houston’s songs says “Learning to love yourself is the greatest love of all.” True enough. In order to love others, you must love yourself too. Remember, you cannot give what you do not have.

Before telling other people some ways on how to improve themselves, let them see that you yourself is a representation and a product of self improvement. Self improvement makes us better people, we then inspire other people, and then the rest of the world will follow.

Stop thinking of yourselves as second-rate beings. Forget the repetitive thought of “If only I was richer… if only I was thinner” and so on. Accepting your true self is the first step to self improvement. We need to stop comparing ourselves to others only to find out at the end that we’ve got 10 more reasons to envy them.

We all have our insecurities. Nobody is perfect. We always wish we had better things, better features, better body parts, etc. But life need not to be perfect for people to be happy about themselves.Self improvement and loving yourself is not a matter of shouting to the whole world that you are perfect and you are the best. It’s the virtue of acceptance and contentment. When we begin to improve ourselves, we then begin to feel contented and happy.

What is Procrastination?

Procrastination can be defined as Deferment of Actions or tasks to a later time.

- We can say fundamentally Procrastination is the act of putting off essential task until a later time, most of the time non essential tasks are done in lieu of the more critical ones.
- Psychologists term such behavior as a mechanism for coping with the anxiety associated with starting and completing any task or decision.
- Usually the behavior of person procrastinating is

- Counterproductive

- Needless

- Delaying

- Issues concerning procrastination are anxiety, low sense of self-worth, and a self-defeating mentality.
- Procrastinators basically have a lower-than-normal level of conscientiousness.
- The approach is mostly based on the "dreams and wishes" of perfection Contrary to a realistic appreciation of their obligations and potential.

Procrastination is a habit, but the good news is - like any other habit it can be broken.

- If unchecked this habit can have serious consequences on our life as well as lives of the people who love us.
- Procrastination becomes dangerous if further unchecked as it affects mental and physical health of the person.

Motivational speaker and coach, Mike Litman says that, "Procrastination is like a Big Bomb exploding violently on our personal goals. The things we deeply cherish are destroyed and after the explosion all that left is regrets. Regrets make us tremble inside. It's an internal earthquake that leaves us feeling empty."

Mike further states that for a 7 year period of time procrastination and its sister 'scatteredness' wiped out over $150,0270 from his personal bank account. Procrastination is the thief of profit so run from it now by taking Napoleon Hill's advice on overcoming procrastination that says" The principle of concentration is the medium by which procrastination is overcome. The same principle is the foundation upon which both self-confidence and self-esteem are predicted".

- The most important part of the work is the beginning.
- We need to stop analyzing repeatedly.
- Lots of our time, money and energy goes waste when we look for perfection in each task.
- Taking tiny steps will lead us out of procrastination and nearer to achieving our goals.

Here are some suggestions to help you get started and stop procrastination:
- Realize that the task to be done is to be done - their are no alternatives.
- Self reflection will help us to determine our personality and know why we are avoiding particular task, is it simply our self defeating behavior or lack of knowledge, if so learn the task and do it.
- Use positive words instead of negatives, as words have a color and they impact us.
- Being confident of our information, equipment and time limit ensures that the task is done on time.
- Making Realistic Expectations and Prioritizing on the tasks keeps us well focused on the goals.
- Motivation and Rewards to the self help us in accomplishing the tasks efficiently.

Let us beat the habit of procrastination with quote from Napoleon Hill "Procrastination is the bad habit of putting of until the day after tomorrow what should have been done the day before yesterday."

How to Motivate Yourself to Success

Now, reading the title would make you think "How CAN you motivate someone? That's just impossible!" and 'll be straight with you - I can't! Only you can motivate your own self. I'm only writing this to offer points you can consider to use in order to build up your motivation.

Belief

Before you carry out any task, you need to believe you CAN see it through and WILL do it to the best of your abilities. Usually, people don't believe in their selves because of past experiences of failures and trash talking from other people.

When you don't get what you want or what you expect, it's easy to just give up and start something else. And often, this is what most people do - including me, before I got fed up of it. Having to face failures is never easy. You can have ten guys beating you up - anything but failing all the time. To avoid failure, believe that you are not a failure, or a waste. Just think of failures as accidents and lessons to make your future better. Don't back down and just move forward.

Be reasonable, be realistic

For example, when you just cannot get an A, no matter how hard you've worked for the maths test. It's so easy to say "You know what? I'm just naturally dumb!" Believe me, if you were dumb, you wouldn't be able to read this article at all. In case you didn't notice, only highly educated people can read this.

When failure strikes, think of the possible reasons why it may be. Challenge yourself, question yourself of the possibilities - be critical on yourself. Denying faults will never help, it will only make the matter worse. So, be brave, stand up and admit your mistakes. Have you worked hard enough to deserve success? Have you missed any minor, important detail? Let failure be a lesson and instead of moaning about it, think of ways to overcome it and avoid it in the future.

Competition

Everyone likes to compete every now and then. Whether it's between siblings or friends, competition is always encouraging. It only gets bad when you let yourself be a bit 'too competitive'. When you compete, the drive to win is usually higher than the drive to succeed. Often times, people do succeed because of their competitive side. Either it's to compete with your past excellent records or take part in a race, competition is good as it encourages you to do better than you have in the past. Tell yourself "I'm going to win this thing!" and repeat it in your head until you completely believe in it. Just make sure you work as hard as you should. After all, what's the point of talk if there's no action, right?

Finding Motivation For Success

At times we can all feel that we have gotten ourselves into a rut, and it seems that we have completely lost all motivation.

Working from home alone it can be notoriously difficult to stay focused. But don't worry you are not alone in feeling this.

Below are some simple and easy to follow tips that may help you rediscover your motivation.

1) Define a goal. Often people have too many projects going on at any one time. This is a drain on energy and resources. Trying to do too many things at once is probably the most common mistake that people make. When trying to focus on more than one goal at a time it is easy to lose direction and motivation, so it is better to complete one task before moving on to the next.

2) When you choose a goal to work on it can be really helpful to write it down, or better still print it out in big bold letters and put it somewhere that you will see it often. Like above your desk or on the door of your refrigerator. It will be there as a constant reminder.

3) Tell people about your goal. Commit to it publicly, so even when you are not feeling particularly motivated you will feel the need to stick with it and not back down.

4) If your motivation starts to wane find inspiration from others. Read books, blogs and watch videos about success stories. Get excited about what ever goal you have set for yourself. This is a great way to regain your focus.

5) Think about your goal daily and think about it in a positive light. If you stay positive about it, it is much more likely to happen for you. Also realise that motivation is not constant thing, as with everything it comes and goes. Nobody feels mentally on top form all the time!

6) Most importantly remember you must stick with it. Nothing ever gets achieved by giving up. If you are having trouble with your motivation levels remember to start with small tasks and build up from there. Once you have a few small successes under your belt you will find that you feel much more positive about taking on bigger challenges.
